Leaving Home Checklist

Are you ready for an immediate evacuation? One where the sooner you leave; the safer?

I have with me 2 types of emergency bags, depending on the situation and how fast and how long i need to be evacuated. Since i live in a high rise building (30th Floor), i will have 2 specific scenarios where i will need to grab my bag and start moving in the emergency Stairway or Exit Stairs

  1. Short term Evacuation (Fire in the building)
  2. Long term Evacuation (Earth quake damaged building)

  • The first is for short term, something really light that has all the things i need and after the incident, i can return back home (if the fire is not in my floor or unit)
    1. Mask (Gas Mask / N95 Mask)
    2. Damp or Wet Small Towel
    3. Small Bottle of Drinking Water
    4. Hat, Shirt, Short, Socks, Slippers
    5. Tissue & Wet Wipes
    6. Emergency Cash
    7. Documents
    8. Extra set of Keys (house /car)
    9. Sun Glasses / Flash Light (Day or Night)
    10. Pepper Spray or Whistle or Tactical Pen (Protection or Call For Help)

  • The Second is for Long Term, i will need to move to another location or even another house. it will be similar to my Bug-Out Bag but for Urban Survival
    1. Drinking water or Portable water filter
    2. Clothing
    3. Shelter Tools (Tools and Gear)
    4. Medical Supply / First Aid Kit
    5. Emergency Food (Canned Food/ Noodles)
    6. EDC Kit
    7. Traveling Kit
    8. Survival Kit
    9. Hygiene Kit
    10. Important Documents / Financials and Cash
