A rubber band (also known as an elastic band, gum band) is a loop of rubber, usually ring shaped, and commonly used to hold multiple objects together. They come in many different sizes and colours.

Rubber bands have a lot of uses other than holding objects together and can come in handy in an emergency survival scenario.
