When Wet season or rainy season in the Philippines starts, you need to be prepared at all times with your Rainy weather kit. Carrying an umbrella wont cut it when it starts raining cats and dogs.
so here are a few items i carry during Rainy season

• Umbrella With Flashlight
• Nylon Rain Coat (Poncho)
• Shoe cover rain boots
• Microfiber absorbent Face Towel
• wet & dry drawstring backpack

The Umbrella with the built in flash light is a great way to see infront of you in the dark places or places in manila where the street lights dont exist or are damaged.

The rain coat and shoe cover will keep your cloths dry for when you are walking on the road and a car splashes water on you

The face towel is for you to dry yourself up when you are back indoors

and the Wet & Dry Drawstring back back to put everything in it when its wet

All these items take little to no space and can be inside your everyday bag and removed when needed to use. you will be carrying 2 bags when you are indoors and outside of the rain, but at least you are prepared when you need to go back out into the rain.
